David joined the .NET team at Freebook Global Technologies in 2017 as a software developer, following past experience as a web developer and IT support engineer, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Networking & Telecommunications.
David has been and continues to be involved in a variety of prominent connected health projects, having worked on the development of the global web platform Alere Data Point™ and the non-profit organisation Find’s TB Biomarker database.
David provides ongoing support and maintenance for these platforms, fixing issues he identifies and making continuous improvements for optimum system performance.
What are your favourite things about Freebook Global Technologies?
Some of my favourite things about working at Freebook Global Technologies are the free fruit and drinks, the amazing office, and all the fantastic staff!
What does your Freebook Global Technologies role involve?
A major aspect of my job is coding, which requires an extensive knowledge of coding languages (C#, VB.NET and C++) and great attention to detail. I also carry out report writing using Crystal Reports and perform regular maintenance for a variety of client applications.
What would your dream project be?
My dream project would probably be to work for the Premier League or FIFA to build an application to monitor statistics for footballers.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, my main passions are football, festivals, travelling and food.
