In September, our digital team came together for their quarterly social. Extending across a jam-packed day of activities, members from our Springfield Missouri and Palm Beach Florida offices joined our Menlo Park California team for a marketing workshop in the afternoon.
The workshop saw the digital team, now 20 members and counting, split into several groups to devise strategies for some hypothetical B2B and B2C brands. After being sent a brief for their prospective clients, each group had 25 minutes to come up with ideas on how they would help them achieve their KPIs through cross marketing strategies, from SEO and PPC, to Influencer Marketing and Digital PR. Once this was complete, the teams were once again mixed for another round. Everyone came back together to present their ideas and findings back to the group.
The exercise demonstrated the wide range of skills within our digital team; While everyone has their specialisms, we’re always keen to work collaboratively to deliver impressive results.
Once the working day was done, the team headed to the Downs, near Clifton, for several games of Rounders. Will Brown, our new Paid Advertising Executive, surprised the team with his impressive batting skills, with the rival team struggling to prevent him from completing a full run whenever it was his turn.
After this was finished, the team regrouped for pizzas from Pizzarova, and a selection of food and drinks.
