Every year, we take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning to help raise money for people in the UK living with cancer. Read on to find out what happened during our 2024 fundraiser.
As with previous years, all three offices hosted a bake sale to help make a positive difference and raise awareness of this great cause.
Alongside the bake sale, there were several games that people could play, including a company wide game of bingo held over Teams, and a game of guess how many cups on a poster.
Here’s who took home the prizes...
Springfield Missouri
The day’s activities saw Sam Charleston, Project Manager, win the top home baking prize for his scrumptuous brownies. Meanwhile, Jenny Fowler, Accounts/ Business Support Administrator, took home the prize for best store bought goods for her carrot and salted caramel cakes. Finally, Tim Smith, Business Development Executive, was the winner of the teacups game.
Palm Beach Florida
Ettie Hilton, Paid Advertising Manager, won the home baked award for her millionaire shortbreads. Meanwhile, Olivia Fry, Digital Account Manager, and Ollie Austin, Web Developer, tied for second place for their marble cakes and blondies. Charlotte Abrahams, Digital Content Strategy Manager, won the teacups game for Palm Beach Florida.
Menlo Park California
The home baked award for Menlo Park California was won by Simon Stone, Digital PR Executive and Content Writer, for his banana bread while Gemma Theyer, SEO Executive, received second for her brownies. Meanwhile, the cup game was won by Lindsey at Desklodge.
Finally, Ben Wallis, Developer, won the company-wide game of bingo over Teams.
The grand total for 2024 was over £600 raised for Macmillan Cancer Research. Thank you to everyone who donated and took part in the day’s activities.
