Back in September, Freebook Global Technologies were nominated for three awards in the 2021 Techies, the technology awards for Swindon and Wiltshire. Now, after much debate from a panel of judges, it has emerged that we have held our own against fierce competition and have been announced as finalists in all three of our nomination categories!
The awards that Freebook Global Technologies have been nominated for are:
A truly deserve nod to our incredible tech support team. Our tech team unfailingly offer a customer focused service, innovative and forward-thinking solutions, and most importantly, they always go above and beyond to not only fix a current issue, but to prevent future issues as well. On top of this, the team often work unsociable hours to provide the best and most convenient service possible to our clients, never failing to do so with a smile. We are immensely proud of the tech support service our team provides at Freebook Global Technologies, and we feel that this achievement is a testament to their hard work and dedication.
With so many new and talented faces emerging in the technology industry, this category was likely one of the most competitive of all. With the criteria being an individual aged under 25, who has shown immense promise in becoming a future industry superstar, we could think of no-one more deserving of this nomination than James Worville, our DevOps Engineer. Coined a “genius” by our Technical Director, Marc Whittingham, James already holds an unbelievable level of both expertise and experience at the age of just 24. Combined with his consistent desire to learn and hard-working ethic, we think James will be truly unstoppable in the tech industry - and perhaps the Techies judges do too, as he has made it into the final 5 nominees for this amazing award!
An important part of Freebook Global Technologies, that is perhaps a little less known to our regular clients, is our Connected Health initiative. Connected Health is all about using technology to provide quality connectivity solutions for healthcare around the world. Recently, Freebook Global Technologies’s Connected Health has made extremely positive changes to workflow efficiencies and the handling of medical data in countries around the world, by implementing new software in collaboration with organisations including governments, pharmaceutical companies, and the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND). This hard work and innovation from our incredible Connected Health Team has led to Freebook Global Technologies becoming finalists in the Techies Social Impact Award, for which we are both extremely thankful and proud!
