Julie joined the web design team at Freebook Global Technologies in 2021. With a 1st class honours degree from Portsmouth University, she has worked in the creative industry for 6 years and has an extensive portfolio to show for it.
Working as a freelancer for a year equipped Julie with web and graphic design project experience, to add to her work ethic and high-quality standards. She is a very talented and hardworking individual, which makes her a great addition to the design team.
Julie is currently building sites using content management systems such as WordPress and Joomla! as well as designing in Adobe XD.
What are your favourite things about Freebook Global Technologies?
The team! Working with everyone from different departments is an amazing experience. I also enjoy, the variety of client work, which gives you a taste of different sectors and most of all I love the open plan office space with the avenger’s mural… (I am a massive Ironman fan).
What does your Freebook Global Technologies role involve?
Working as a web designer, my role involves designing and building sites for clients and working closely with the development team to create aesthetically pleasing and responsive websites.
What would your dream project be?
To work on an aviation sector project as I find that interesting and it would be a nice challenge to create a great design as well as an easy user journey.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Being active, I like gardening as I find it therapeutic, reading books and spending time with family and friends.
