Verity joined Freebook Global Technologies as a Project Manager in 2022. She has worked as a Project Manager in a diverse selection of industries including marketing communications and the financial sector. More recently, Verity has worked as a Project Manager at a marketing agency working for clients such as Epson, PayPal Giving Fund and Thomson Reuters.
Her current role focuses on managing projects through to completion, liaising with clients, supporting the design, dev and test teams, removing blockers, monitoring budgets and timelines.
Verity is an optimistic and adaptable individual with a positive mindset. She enjoys learning new ways of working and different approaches to overcoming issues. She loves trying out new activities outside of work and is partial to a pun.
What are your favourite things about Freebook Global Technologies?
The team is supportive, knowledgeable, and always helpful. I have been made to feel very welcome here. I enjoy the variety of work, my projects are all quite different from each other which means I am learning a lot. I also like the way that our internal processes support us to deliver work to clients.
What does your Freebook Global Technologies role involve?
I need to juggle lots of projects which are at different stages of development, so it involves monitoring them regularly and also looking ahead to predict and overcome any issues.
What would your dream project be?
I’d very much enjoy working on any project for a vegan, eco or sustainable brand (in fact one of my current projects is within this sphere). It would feel good to contribute towards a positive effect on the planet through my work.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy anything to do with being active such as yoga and weight training. I also like trying new things, I tried wakeboarding recently and surfing is next on my list!
