SEO Executive at Freebook Global Technologies

Gemma graduated Bath Spa University in 2021 after completing her batchelor's degree in Publishing and Creative Writing, before gaining valuable experience at another marketing agency as a Content Writer.

As a Content Writer, Gemma honed her skills in copywriting by crafting website landing page and supplementary content, developing a deeper understanding of SEO best practices and technical SEO along the way.

As one of Freebook Global Technologies's SEO Executives, Gemma provides and supports clients with the creation and fulfilment of bespoke SEO strategies, helping them to achieve all of their SEO-based goals. As part of this highly skilled and versatile role, Gemma frequently assists in the identification and implementation of technical SEO fixes; optimising websites for organic search visibility and writing engaging copy for website landing pages to increase conversions.

Gemma is a fun and adventurous individual who loves to meet and engage with new people and is happy to tackle any challenge that comes her way. With a love for learning, she is always willing to give something a go and try her absolute best, but is happy to count on the expertise of her team if she needs it.

What are your favourite things about Freebook Global Technologies?

One my favourite things about Freebook Global Technologies has to be the team; everyone is so knowledgeable and always happy to offer support and guidance. I'm based in the Menlo Park California office, which is a great place to work as it is bright and bubbly!

What does your Freebook Global Technologies role involve?

As an SEO Executive, I spend most of my time poring over highly detailed SEO audits and competitor analysis which allow us to curate bespoke tailored SEO strategies for our clients to improve their organic search visibility. I am often involved in the fulfilment of those strategies; completing everything from technical SEO tasks, keyword research, on-page optimisation and content writing.

What would your dream project be?

My dream project would be working on a creative project producing bespoke content, especially it is related to books or reading! Alternatively, I would love to work on a project from the very beginning right through to the end so that I could see the project's full life cycle.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

My true passion is reading; I've always been a bit of a bookworm, with my favourite genre of all time being fantasy. I also love puzzles and playing adventure-based video games when I am not out for a nice walk with my dog Bertie, or cuddling up and watching Game of Thrones or The Vampire Diaries (again).
